Who is behind Spacesfocus?

Emilie LEPRINCE - de GASQUET
I graduated in interior design (Master obtained at ESAIL school in Lyon, France) and cabinetmaking, and have also been practising photography for over 7 years.
These specialities allow me to express my creativity and satisfy my appetite for technique. I pay particular attention to the treatment of light. It is key to a successful layout or photograph and help sublimate things.
Determined and committed yet sensitive and caring, I have the capacity to combine design, production, aesthetics and functionality in my creative endeavour.

Why interior designer?
Initially from a technological background, I quickly moved towards a more creative and artistic path and trained to be an interior designer from 2017 and 2022.
This specialisation allows me to combine both technique and aesthetics. I enjoy like the challenge of designing spaces that guarantee the functionality and well-being of their occupants.
Why cabinetmaker ?
As an interior designer graduate, I felt the need to add a materials specialty and an artisanal approach to my skillset.
Attracted to wood, I joined a cabinetmaking school in 2023 and with this new qualification, I discovered the pleasure of designing then manufacturing, thereby reconciling aesthetics and functionalism.
These cabinetmaking skills are proving to be a complementary, differentiating and most valuable asset in my interior design work.
Why photographer ?
My passion for photography is the result of my curiosity, my wonder and the desire to capture unique moments.
I love capturing the ephemeral, telling stories without words and making people discover the world from another angle.I use photography as a form of expression to communicate emotions and atmospheres. For this, I focus on playing with light, shadows, colours and textures.
